NOCN is currently experiencing technical issues affecting some email addresses.

Crane Related Lifting Awareness

NOCN Group have produced this Assured Course in association with the Select Lifting Academy to develop a product to meet the needs of the industry.

The course aims to provide individuals with an awareness of safe crane lifting operations.

  • Roles, Responsibilities, Legislation & Guidance
  • Lifting Principals, Controls and SSOW
  • Ground Conditions, Loadings and Stability
  • Lifting Equipment
  • Ropes, Block and Accessories.
  • Load SSI (Stability, Security, and Structural Integrity)

Course Structure

  • Development Partners: Select Lifting Academy
  • Course Length: 1 day
  • Minimum Age: 18
  • Assessment: Knowledge Test


Who is this course designed for?

  • Operatives who require an awareness of safe crane lifting operations


Train the Trainer

 

  • There is no train-the-trainer course for trainers wishing to run this course, but it is expected that anyone wishing to deliver the course should have completed it themselves.
