Employability Foundations: CVs and Applications for Employment

NOCN Group have produced this Assured Course to help learners build the basic skills and confidence needed to get ready for work.

The course introduces simple steps for writing a CV, putting together a cover letter, and filling in application forms.

 Course Content:

• CV Basics – Learn what a CV is, what it’s used for, and how to write one.
• Cover Letters Made Simple – Understand what a cover letter is and practise writing a short one.
• Application Forms – Explore simple application forms and practise filling them in clearly and accurately.

This course is delivered through either entirely classroom-based OR a blended model of eLearning and classroom delivery and comprises four sessions (totalling approximately 3 hours)

Course Structure:

• Course Length: approximately 3 hours but variable depending on how it is delivered.
• Minimum Age: 14+
• Assessment is via reflective activities, peer/tutor feedback, and a multiple-choice knowledge quiz./li>
