Employability Foundations: Interviews for Employment

NOCN Group have produced this Assured Course to help learners build the confidence and skills they need to prepare for and take part in job interviews.

The course introduces simple techniques to prepare for common interview questions, build confidence in speaking about personal strengths, and practise in a supportive environment.

 Course Content:

• Preparing for Interviews – Explore your own personal strengths, qualities, and what makes you unique.
• Overcoming Nerves – Learn some tips and techniques for lessening interview nerves.
• Interview Preparation –Practice interviews to build your confidence.

This course is delivered through either entirely classroom-based OR a blended model of eLearning and classroom delivery and comprises four sessions (totalling approximately 3 hours).

Course Structure:

• Course Length: approximately 3 hours but variable depending on how it is delivered.
• Minimum Age: 14+
• Assessment is via reflective activities, peer/tutor feedback, and a multiple-choice knowledge quiz.

This short course is aimed at learners seeking to build the basic skills and confidence needed to get ready for work. It will benefit learners who are beginning their journey into work and want to feel more confident about how to get started.
