Fire Marshal

This short course is aimed at learners with the knowledge and understanding of how to identify fire hazards, understand the requirement for fire risk assessments, use portable firefighting equipment, and coordinate evacuations during fire emergencies.

The course also covers the legal responsibilities, fire safety regulations, and how to promote a safe working environment. Upon completion, participants will have the knowledge to act as designated fire marshals or wardens within their workplace or organisation.

Course Content

  • Know and understand the legal legislation that underpins the role of a Fire Marshal.
  • Understand the Hazards and Risks involved when dealing with fire.
  • Be able to identify and know how to control the risk of fire.
  • Understand the roles of those involved in the prevention and control of fire.
  • Know what is expected of a fire marshal in their daily duties.

  • Assessment: Multiple-choice assessment and Practical.
