Employability: High Impact CVs and Applications

NOCN Group have produced this Assured Course to equip learners with essential skills in creating high-quality CVs, cover letters, and application forms.

The course aims to provide individuals with the knowledge and practical tools to showcase their skills, experience, and qualifications effectively.

 Course Content:

• CV Masterclass – Analyse CV examples, practise CV creation, and apply rapid evaluation techniques (“CV in 60 Secs”).
• Cover Letter Development – Examine effective examples, build templates, and conduct peer reviews to refine writing.
• Application Form Strategy – Identify common challenges, practise effective responses, and develop strategies for both digital and paper forms.

This course is delivered through either entirely classroom-based OR a blended model of eLearning and classroom delivery and comprises four sessions (totalling approximately 2 hours)

Course Structure:

• Course Length: approximately 3 hours but variable depending on how it is delivered.
• Minimum Age: 14+
• Assessment is via reflective activities, peer/tutor feedback, and a multiple-choice knowledge quiz.
