Working at Height Awareness

This short course aims to provide individuals with the knowledge and understanding to safely work from height.

Course Content:

• Understand the importance of working safely at height.
• Learn about key regulations and legal responsibilities.
• Identify common hazards and control measures.
• Familiarise yourself with types of access equipment and working platforms.
• Understand the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Learn about emergency procedures and incident reporting.

The six modules are taught by the centre’s trainer/assessor using theory, industry resources, group activities and PowerPoints on NOCNs Document Manager platform.

Course Structure:

• Course Length: One Day
• Minimum Age: 16+
• Assessment: Work through power point presentation. Multiple Choice Questions taken at the end of the day, taking 30 minutes. Marked by the assessor.

• This course will benefit both newly qualified and experienced construction workers.
