Working at Height Awareness
This short course aims to provide individuals with the knowledge and understanding to safely work from height.
Course Content:
- Understand the importance of working safely at height.
- Learn about key regulations and legal responsibilities.
- Identify common hazards and control measures.
- Familiarise yourself with types of access equipment and working platforms.
- Understand the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Learn about emergency procedures and incident reporting.
The six modules are taught by the centre’s trainer/assessor using theory, industry resources, group activities and PowerPoints on NOCNs Document Manager platform.
Course Structure:
- Course Length: One Day
- Minimum Age: 16+
- Assessment: Work through power point presentation. Multiple Choice Questions taken at the end of the day, taking 30 minutes. Marked by the assessor.
