The NOCN Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plastering (Construction) qualification has two specialisms/pathways of which Solid is one of them. The NOCN Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plastering (Construction) -Solid has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means the learner needs to be employed to undertake this pathway. This pathway enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise their skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate their competence in a real workplace environment so that the learner can work in a Solid environment. The learner will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements which have been derived from National Occupational Standards for your occupational area (Recommended Qualification Structure for Plastering (Construction) Level 2). The learner will be assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with the learner and help the learner complete the pathway. This qualification/pathway supports the learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. NOCN Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plastering (Construction) -Solid Total Qualification Time (TQT) for this qualification: 870 Minimum Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for this qualification: 291 This qualification can be taken as part of an apprenticeship framework, if desired. This qualification sits within the Construction Apprenticeship Framework in England and Wales. Qualification Structure

Description: To achieve this qualification a minimum of 7 units need to be attained. This comprises 6 units in the Mandatory Group, plus a minimum of at least 1 unit in the Optional Group. There are also additional units that can be taken as part of this qualification, this unit will be included on the certificate but will not count towards the achievement of the qualification.
