This qualification is designed to develop some of the knowledge and skills needed to operate within a community, particularly in accessing and using services. The qualification can build on previous achievement of awards in specific areas, but also allow for a more in depth look at some of the skill areas and ensure, by the rules of combination, that a breadth of skill areas is covered.
