The NOCN Level 3 Diploma for Health Screeners is designed to provide a Health Screener the recognition of having demonstrated underpinning skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to undertake their role. Learners will gain knowledge on generic skills such as communication, principles of person centred care, safeguarding, infection prevention and control as well more specific areas related to the five pathways:
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm
Diabetic Eye (Screener)
Diabetic Eye (Screener/Grader)
Diabetic Eye (Grader)
New Born Hearing
The qualification will confirm occupational competence to the standards required for each of the Health Screener job roles.

Description: Learners must achieve 56 credits for this qualification. 37 must be achieved from Mandatory Group A and a further 19 credits from Mandatory Group B which are relevant to this pathway.
