This qualification is vocationally based and as such, offers the opportunity for those acting as service providers to gain knowledge and understanding of the scope of the information, advice or guidance they can provide to clients, including when referral or signposting may be appropriate for clients. It also gives learners the opportunity to apply their knowledge and
understanding to simulated scenarios in training and practice the required communication skills.
The qualification will enable learners to support adult and/or vulnerable service users who require practical support and guidance.
