The purpose of this qualification is to develop an in-depth understanding of how asbestos in non-domestic premises must be appropriately managed whilst complying with the requirements of the governing legal framework and specific legal responsibilities. The development of this knowledge will also include the ability to investigate asbestos incidents plus review and audit the required and detailed overarching asbestos management plan and policy for the organisation.

• People providing duty holder services including Specialist Consultants.
• People who are responsible for:
o Managing asbestos in buildings with responsibility for writing the asbestos management plan and policy for their organisation.
o Writing, reviewing and/or auditing Asbestos Management Plans.
