What is SETPD?

Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development (SETPD) is NOCN Group’s flexible suite of qualifications designed to support learners to build confidence, develop essential skills, and progress into employment, further learning or training.

SETPD qualifications focus on real world skills that help learners prepare for work, education and independent living. They are widely used across employability, community learning and preemployment programmes, and are designed to support learners at different starting points.

The suite is available from Entry Level 3 to Level 2, with clear progression opportunities built in.

Who are SETPD qualifications for?

Learners with Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities (SEND) Learners who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) Individuals preparing for employment or apprenticeships
     
Adult learners returning to education Learners in community, supported or employability focused provision Learners developing confidence, independence and workplace behaviours alongside practical skills

The flexibility of the qualifications makes them suitable for delivery in colleges, training providers, local authority programmes and community settings.
