Aim

This unit is about the ability to use software applications to produce effective presentations, that include a combination of media (e.g. images or video) for education, entertainment or information sharing.

The learner will select and use a range of presentation software tools and techniques effectively to produce presentations to meet the needs of purpose and audience.

Assessment guidance and/or requirements

LO 1 Combination of content could include text, images, tables and graphs.
AC 2.3 Formatting techniques could include:
• changing font
• centering text
• underlining and bold
• changing format of slides
AC 2.4 Presentation tools could include:
• headers or footers
• including time and date
• applying transitions
AC 3.2 Prepare slides for presentation could include:
• setting timings
• setting up as a slide show
