Coronavirus update for customers

As you will be aware the government imposed a third national lockdown from Tuesday 5th January 2021. You will find out more operational detail on the implications for each of these services through the following links:

  • 1.1. - Use the materials required to clean a cycle for use.

  • 1.3. - Clean a cycle.
  • 1.4. - Carry out a safety check of a cycle.
  • 1.5. - Identify damage to cycle components.
  • 1.6. - Identify the relevant person to inform of any damage to cycle components.
  • 1.7. - Inform the relevant person of any damage to cycle components.

Know how cycle cleaning and finishing products work.

  • 2.1. - State the function of a:
    a) Solvent
    b) Detergent
    c) Lubricant.

Be able to work safely when cleaning and preparing a cycle for use.

  • 3.1. - Use Personal Protective Equipment when cleaning and preparing a cycle for use.
  • 3.2. - Safely handle and dispose of cleaning materials and substances used when cleaning and preparing a cycle for use.
  • 3.3. - Safely handle and support a cycle during cleaning and preparation for use.
  • 3.4. - Identify the people that must be informed of the progress on the work being undertaken.
