Aim
This unit is about the ability to protect digital devices (including computers, phones and tablets) and the data held both on them and remotely against theft, malfunction and unauthorised access.
The learner will identify security risks and have knowledge of laws and guidelines that affect the use of computers and digital devices. They will use appropriate methods and techniques to minimise risks and protect devices and personal data.
