Aim
The aim of this unit is to illustrate the skills, knowledge and understanding required to confirm competence in Preparing and operating tower cranes to lift and transfer loads in the workplace within the relevant sector of the industry.


Assessment guidance and/or requirements

This unit must be assessed against one of the following endorsements:
-Tower crane trolley jib – cab controlled
-Tower crane trolley jib – remote controlled
-Tower crane luffing jib – cab controlled.
