Aim
This unit is about raising routine requisitions where rates do not need to be negotiated, for example, requisitions for consumables or for the services of a courier. The unit involves preparing accurate, clear and timely requisitions and passing them on to the right people. You need to demonstrate that you ask for further information where requests for goods or services are unclear, and that you do so promptly and politely. You need to show that you keep records of the requisitions you have raised, check on the progress of requisitions and tell your line manager about any incoming deliveries that are unsatisfactory. You
also need to show that you keep records of hires that are lost because of problems with availability of the goods or services you have requisitioned.
