Coronavirus update for customers

Know about the skin.

  • 1.1. - State one function of the skin.
  • 1.2. - Identify the basic structure of the skin.
  • 1.3. - Identify different facial skin types. 

Be able to prepare for make-up application.

  • 2.1. - List factors that influence the choice of:
    a) make-up products
    b) techniques for applying make-up.
  • 2.2. - List the stages of preparation for applying make-up to skin.
  • 2.3. - State how to use products, tools and equipment for application of make-up.
  • 2.4. -
    Prepare the work area according to instructions.

  • 2.5. - Select the required:
    a) products
    b) tools
    c) equipment
    for a given person and situation. 

Be able to carry out make-up application.

  • 3.1. - Follow instructions to prepare the face to receive make-up.
  • 3.2. - Follow instructions to apply basic make-up products.
  • 3.3. - Follow safe and hygienic working practices.
  • 3.4. - Communicate and behave in accordance with required standards.

Know how to remove make-up.

  • 4.1. - Name suitable products for removing the make-up applied.
  • 4.2. - Follow instructions to remove make-up.
