Coronavirus update for customers

Know about health and safety requirements for physical theatre.

  • 1.1 - Apply health and safety rules for physical theatre.

Be able to engage in physical theatre.

  • 2.1 - Perform physical warm up activities.
  • 2.2 - Explain the importance of physical warm up activities.
  • 2.3 - Take part in trust building exercises.
  • 2.4 - Explain the importance of trust building exercises.
  • 2.5 - Apply safe practices when using stage props.

Be able to use movements for physical theatre.

  • 3.1 - Perform given movements in a clear and controlled manner. 
  • 3.2 - Apply concentration and focus.
  • 3.3 - Apply balance and spatial awareness.

Be able to choreograph physical performance sequences.

  • 4.1 - Apply an order to a sequence of moves.
  • 4.2 - Create links between the moves.
  • 4.3 - Implement moves which show audience awareness.
  • 4.4 - Perform the sequence.

Be able to review own performance.

  • 5.1 - Evaluate own performance to identify:
    a) strengths
    b) areas for improvement.
