Planned System Maintenance – Wednesday 15th April 2026

Please note: On Wednesday 15th April 2026, Quartzweb will be temporarily unavailable while we carry out essential system updates.

The upgrade is scheduled to take place from 4:00pm–4:30pm, during which time centres will be unable to access the QuartzWeb system. Our Customer Service and Operations teams will also be unable to access Quartz during this time, meaning they will not be able to answer calls.

Aim
The aim of this unit is to provide the learner with the knowledge of building methods and construction technology in relation to:
-Understanding activities undertaken in the construction industry and wider built environment
-Understanding different roles and responsibilities within a construction project
-Understanding physical and environmental factors when undertaking a construction project
-Understanding how construction can be beneficial to the built environment
-Understanding principles of sustainability on a construction project.
