Aim
The aim of this unit is to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to be able to understand and apply health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation within a civil engineering workplace. Learners will know how to conduct risk assessments and mitigate against risks found, incorporating common safety methods into working practices. Effective communication of health, safety and welfare is demonstrated.
