Coronavirus update for customers

As you will be aware the government imposed a third national lockdown from Tuesday 5th January 2021. You will find out more operational detail on the implications for each of these services through the following links:

Update 29th March 2021

On 24th March, Ofqual published the VTQ Contingency Regulatory Framework (VCRF) which allows NOCN to provide centres with awarding arrangements for learners who have had their training and assessment disrupted in 2021. Loadmaster Course

The SiteRight Loadmaster course was developed in collaboration with Flannery Plant Hire and the Operator Skills Hub. Designed to promote safe plant vehicle loading and unloading practices in the construction industry.

Course content

The modules upskill candidates on the correct procedures and best practices for the safe loading and unloading of mobile plant and equipment.

The loadmaster course was developed after several incidents, including a near miss on a Smart Motorway project. The seriousness of the incidents highlighted the need for the education of the teams responsible for the delivery and collection of plant to and from construction and infrastructure sites. The outline, structure and content of this course is assured by NOCN group and the validation period for this course is 3 years.

Course Structure

Delivered using a blended approach of theory and practical elements, on completion of the course delegates should be able to recognise good practice and perceive potential hazards. The course duration is 3 hours.


The cost for this course is £25

Who is the course aimed at?

The course is aimed at site Foreman, Supervisors, Managers, Planners and any other site personnel who are responsible for the safe practice of loading and unloading mobile plant.
