The UK Government has committed to reaching Net Zero emissions by 2050 — and that means transforming how we heat, insulate, and manage buildings. With heating responsible for 75% of building-related emissions, the demand for skilled retrofit professionals is rapidly growing.

That’s where the Warm Homes Skills Programme comes in.

Launching in 2025, this £17.28 million government-backed initiative will provide up to 9,000 subsidised training placements across England, supporting the upskilling of professionals in both domestic and non-domestic retrofit.
