Please complete the form below and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your options and advise on the next steps.

Training requirements

Centre Observe Record and Review OR Centre Invigilated (1:1)
Your remote invigilator(s) will need to watch the NOCN training videos on remote invigilation and gain a minimum of 30 minutes of systems training from an NOCN in-house trainer. Please note up to two training sessions per year are included in your annual centre fee. If you plan to use remote invigilation for Functional Skills, the remote invigilator will need to familiarise themselves with the assessment platform by watching the training videos and viewing a mock assessment.

NOCN Observe Record and Review OR NOCN Invigilated (1:1)
We will provide training for the booking and invigilation platform for you to book invigilation sessions with an NOCN invigilator.

Technical Requirements

The following hardware and software are required for Remote Invigilator for NOCN assessments:

  • PC or laptop
  • Camera
  • Microphone
  • Google Chrome web browser
  • Reliable broadband (2Mb for 1:1 invigilation and 7Mb for ORR)

N.B. Chromebooks, mobiles, and tablets cannot be used as the small screen size can disadvantage learners particularly when the test includes longer style questions.

Why is a camera and microphone required?

A camera and microphone are necessary for both candidate and invigilator to be able to see and talk to each other and for the Invigilator to properly invigilate the test.
