Following the successful pilot earlier this year, there are now a wider range of resources available to centres via ResourceLink. This is available to all of our centres, who do not have access to our virtual learning environment vLearn, but still want to access our eLearning resources, via their own system.
Why access ResourceLink?
ResourceLink allows centres to access interactive digital resources and implement them on their own systems at a cost of just £3.50 per learner.
Centres will need to have a Learning Management System (LMS) in place, such as Moodle or Blackboard in order for these files to work*, enabling seamless delivery and tracking of student progress.

Which resources are available on ResourceLink?
Currently the following resources can be requested:
Please note ResourceLink packages will only be shared where a centre has approval for the qualification they are requesting and where they have active learner registrations. If at any time, now or in the future, the centre or qualification/programme approval expires OR they no longer have active registrations on the qualification/programme, the centre must agree to stop accessing the material and notify NOCN of this change.
*The files we supply through ResourceLink are made to work on LMS systems (SCORM files*).
A SCORM file is a package used for delivering e-learning content. It contains all the files needed for an e-learning resource to run in a system. SCORM files need to be uploaded to an LMS (learning management system) to work properly. These systems know how to handle the files.
You upload the zip folder to an LMS, and the system will handle everything from playing the course, to tracking and reporting on learner progress.
