Facilities Management involves providing a quality and cost effective maintenance and care service for a wide range of commercial and public buildings, such as hotels, hospitals, office and shopping complexes, arenas, educational or convention centres.

The Apprenticeship has been designed to up-skill current workforce and attracts more young people into Facilities Management. Advanced Apprentices will work as Assistant Facilities Manager, team leader or be employed in a trainee role, resolving problems and ensuring the smooth running of facilities and services.

Qualifications:

Knowledge Qualification:

  • NOCN Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Facilities Management (601/5323/4)
  • Credit Value: 21
  • Guided Learning Hours: 72-92

Functional Skills:

To complete the apprenticeship apprentices may need to do functional skills if they don’t have the adequate qualifications, the qualifications that can be taken with this apprenticeship are:

  • NOCN Functional Skills qualification in English at Level 2 (500/9469/5)
  • NOCN Functional Skills qualification in Mathematics at Level 2 (501/1158/9)
